Descrição:

The MEX platform stands as Australia’s leading Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), developed by maintenance professionals to enhance maintenance workflows, minimize equipment downtime, and improve profitability. Its dedicated iOS application extends these capabilities, offering a seamless, paperless maintenance environment for professionals on the move.

What Sets MEX Apart in Versatility?

Organizations across various industries and regions worldwide rely on MEX to streamline their maintenance operations. Its integration with the MEX iOS app effectively eliminates the inefficiencies associated with traditional paper-based systems. For businesses seeking to reduce downtime, optimize asset utilization, and manage maintenance more effectively, MEX offers a comprehensive solution.

The platform empowers users to achieve greater control and flexibility—from frontline staff to management—contributing to operational efficiencies and cost savings.

Functions of the MEX iOS App include:

Assets Register: Centralized repository for all asset information, including details, work order history, audits. The app enables issuing parts, creating, viewing, and editing assets remotely.

Work Orders: Manage maintenance tasks in real time. Create, review, and update work orders on-site—add notes or images, generate purchase orders, and issue parts via barcode scanning. This immediacy helps prevent costly downtime.

Reports: Generate localized reports instantly to inform maintenance decisions regardless of location.

Readings: Record new data points or process existing asset readings within the platform.

Requests: Submit and manage job requests directly from mobile devices. Users can edit, approve, cancel, or initiate work orders based on these requests.

Stores*: Access inventory management features via the app for real-time control over stock levels and procurement (additional purchase required). A demo version demonstrates this module’s functionality.

Custom Modules: Personalize the application by creating custom modules within MEX, which can then be accessed on the go through the iOS app.

Tracking: Monitor assets and personnel with GPS tracking. Once enabled, device locations are transmitted back to the system for real-time oversight.

Envision a scenario where an engineer in the field identifies a critical machinery failure. With the MEX iPad/iPhone app, they can order replacement parts, book additional resources, or coordinate personnel instantly—ensuring that operations continue smoothly without interruption. Downloading the MEX iOS app allows users to stay connected and responsive anywhere at any time.

Existing MEX clients can access the app free of charge; usage consumes a single MEX User License. New users can benefit from a trial version with pre-loaded data to explore its features firsthand.

*Note: The Stores module requires an additional purchase but has been integrated into the demo version for evaluation purposes.

Disclaimer: Ongoing GPS usage in the background may significantly impact device battery life.
